Great Golf Outings start from the time you arrive
To begin, this was not a hotel stay, but a golf outing at one of our local golf courses. I will say that we have played this course many times over the years and it really has become our go to course when others are too crowded or priced too high. With that said, we had made a morning tee time and left the house to arrive before our tee time, but ended up being late. Many golf courses would have turned us away because of crowds and scheduled tee times. AGR said they had let a couple of groups play through and fit us in without an issue. We got our cart and while changing our shoes drove out to the starter, a guy named Mark. Mark kidded with us as we continued to put on our shoes and get ready to hit off. He really helped us ease into our round and took the tension off we were all feeling. The course is in very good shape, but Mark gave us the whole run down about the upcoming overseeding and the rates/schedules and hoped that we would come back before they closed for the overseeding period. The round went faster than normal (17 foursomes were in front of us) and we were very pleased with the entire morning round even though our tension was a little high when we were first walking up to get our cart. Thank You AGR, we will be back.
